Postcode Community Trust Funding Announcement – Stockport Dynamoes Football Club

Thanks to the players of the Peoples Postcode Lottery we are thrilled to announce that Stockport Dynamoes have been selected to receive an award of £2000 to provide all our amazing volunteers with FA qualifications. We always view our volunteers as special people who make a difference to the community and we are delighted that the Postcode Lottery’s community trust thinks so too with this award.

The full funding will be used to supply all our volunteers with the latest FA qualifications which now includes the updated youth modules, as well as the FA 1st aid courses and Child Safeguarding qualifications.We will also be providing Level 2 qualifications to our already qualified volunteers. Many of these skills learned will not only benefit the club, but also the wider community. Many aspects of the courses education principles and skills are directly transferable to everyday life and other social situations.

Award of this funding thanks to the players of the Peoples Postcode Lottery is a testament to our club growth and strength over recent years and adds to what has been an unprecedented summer for our club. We would like to thanks all the players of the Postcode Lottery for their support and the Postcode Community Trust for the award of this grant. We cant wait to get started and keep everyone updated as all our volunteers get the qualifications and support they deserve.
